30 wrz 2019 · If your Guest Additions are installed then there should be a small VirtualBox logo in the notifications area in the right side of the guest taskbar. Hover over that icon to get the GAs version. No logo means GAs not installed - so navigate to the CD drive inside the guest and run the GAs installer.

I wasn't even able to select any of the standard screen sizes for my virtual screen. The solution I found was to shut down my VM, quit the VirtualBox Manager, and type the following from the command line: VBoxManage setextradata "Windows 10" GUI/LastGuestSizeHint 3840,2160.
26 cze 2014 · It basically doesn't work with VirtualBox. VirtualBox is tracking the issue here , but there's unlikely to be a fix anytime soon since it has to do with how Wayland handles memory. Related StackExchange issue is here , you can use these instructions to switch back to X11.org from Wayland.
24 maj 2016 · When resizing the VM window, Windows 10 doesn't scale dynamically anymore which it did before. The option for automatic scaling in the VM menu is enabled. I am running VirtualBox 5.0.20 (r106931) with Guest Additions 5.0.20.
17 lip 2015 · Shut down the VM completely (not suspend), then restart it. We want windows to start up, seeing a 16:9 ratio while booting up. This should make it happy to accept other 16:9 ratios. As a test, it should now be possible to go fullscreen, or to use seamless mode without artifacts.

There were two things that were needed: (1) Virtualbox Preferences and (2) Guest Additions for the specific VM. 1) In the top toolbar in OSX, go to VirtualBox -> Preferences -> Display and change your max resolution size.
