Vanilla is definitely fun as far as quality of the game. The only mod I would ever utilize would maybe be graphics overhaul. So yes, vanilla is worth it.
I prefer vanilla oblivion over modded Skyrim. The dungeons have depth and the side quests are the best I’ve ever played. It’s worth playing for the dark brotherhood quests alone.
6 maj 2014 · Well, there's no reason NOT to use mods, but vanilla Oblivion can be pretty enjoying, if only because the game hasn't aged extremely well graphically, making npcs look hilariously unncanny at times. Plus, it's still a good game either way.
I've found what seems like three major mod list options- Oblivion Vanilla Enhanced (+OOO list), Bevilex's + Oblivion Basic Modding Guide, and Oblivion Remastered. Does anyone have recommendations/advice for choosing? Pros/cons? I'd like gorgeous and relatively stable.
