12 sie 2022 · Some people just "clean install" generic/genuine Windows to get rid of all the Dell (or other manufacture's) un-wanted software ... but that is a quite a bit more involved procedure (especially on a live machine).

I define all of them as bloatwares as you can manually install drivers from your product support page, don't install graphics drivers from Dell though. SupportAssist/Dell update is useful if you are setting up a blank computer. I would download it, then uninstall it after installing all necessary drivers.

Hi, picked up a inspiron 5515 and would like to remove all the Dell bloatware. I cam across some posts that said to just reinstall windows then install what ever drivers I need. Does anyone have a good guide for this?
