To file a claim, individuals must be out of work or working less than full time. You must provide information about the last employer you worked for as an employee.

To apply online, go to unemployment.ohio.gov and follow the steps listed below. If you don’t have access to a computer, you can apply by calling 1-877-644-6562. Call center hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Note that it is not possible to apply for unemployment benefits in person.
