You can turn in off the rain sound by switching you particles option from all to minimal.
If you hate how rain sounds in Minecraft, do the following. As the title says, well for me at least. I have no idea if it'll work for everyone but it works for me.. Esc > Options > Video Settings > Particles > Minimal Set the "Particles" to "Minimal" Don't ask me how but honestly, it stops the rain sound.
20 sie 2015 · You can download optifine, (You can turn of rain with it, and it's not cheaty). Download optifine. You could also turn off particles in the game settings. If you have commands enabled, then you can hook up a command block (Get command blocks with /give @p minecraft:commmand_block) with /weather clear 100000 to a redstone clock. I hope I helped!
26 mar 2022 · To disable rain type in the command “/weather clear” and to turn the rain on you can type “/weather rain“. But to disable rain for forever i.e, permanently in the game, players will need to type in the command “ /gamerule doWeatherCycle false .”
And I think this might not work in single player, but extreme hills biomes in multiplayer doesn't have the rain sounds, so you can turn off rain with optifine and then have no sound or visuals of it.
In the Java edition, you can turn down music, weather, blocks, hostile creatures, friendly entities, etc. individually all in your settings.
