A Mouse in the House is a 1947 American one-reel animated cartoon and is the 32nd Tom and Jerry short. A fed up Mammy Two Shoes threatens to get rid of one of her lazy cats when she's tired of dealing with all the mice problems.
The House (also called the Classic House) is the main essential setting of the Tom and Jerry franchise. This is the home of Tom and Jerry live in and where their chases and antics often take place in. The house is owned by Tom's owner, Mammy Two Shoes, or any owners depending on other incarnations.
