I'm about to start a TestDome exam covering Rails, JS, and Node that has to be completed by tomorrow morning (sadly my invitation came Thursday night, unexpired and with a pretty short fuse). This is for a senior/lead role, and IMO while it's better than some Hackerrank challenge, it's a pretty lazy form of gatekeeping.
