On the Calcs page, select the Steelskin, Brand Recall, Automation socket group. Select Brand Recall for the active skill. Hover the skill cooldown stat and confirm that Automation is listed as providing 2% increased recovery.
Automation is a new support that automatically cast's instant spells without a reservation, while call to arms triggers warcries on cooldown with a similar behavior. Both gems have a .6 cd, automation has a 1.5x mana multiplier and call to arms has a 2x multiplier.

17 wrz 2024 · Automation can support multiple instant spells at once. Each skill will be used off cooldown independently. Note that most guard skills and instant movement skills share cooldowns, preventing subsequent linked skills of that category from triggering. For example, it can be used to automate Steelskin Steelskin Spell, Duration, Guard Level: (1-20)
I'm running Automation/Steelskin, and it won't proc. Both gems are lvl 18, Automation is active, they're linked, and I have plenty of mana. Why isn't it working?
But if you just wish to automate Molten Shell while mapping, then it's fine! Also, other skill possibilities for this method have been mentioned such as Phase Run, Steelskin, etc.
