   23 paź 2015 · I just got the exact same problem running Steam and Fallout 4 for the first time on a new Windows 10 computer. It looks like Windows moved Documents to OneDrive. And Windows always keeps 'My Games' in Documents. The following has worked for me. I had 2 documents folders: C:\Users\my-user-name\Documents C:\Users\my-user-name\OneDrive\Documents

   17 lut 2019 · This isn’t normal behaviour, no Steam games save to your OneDrive by default. It's probably a folder that many games commonly use for save game files, such as Documents > My Games. This is ultimately a One Drive issue.

   16 lis 2017 · Games might save stuff in your "Documents" folder, which then gets backed up to One Drive, sure... Best bet is, dont have One Drive set to backup any of those. Instead you make a folder on C drive and put actual backup files inside there, then tell One Drive to backup only that folder contents.

I got it to stop by turning off the auto backup of documents and then I just deleted the "My Games" folder from OneDrive (but I started with a new PC and the only game I have at this point is Rocket League). Right click "OneDrive" > Settings > Backup > Manage > "Stop Backup". CraigLong.

   11 lut 2018 · So clean install of win10 pro, never configured one drive but documents folder shows steam saved text files to one drive; this is not ok if I am in offline mode. To add to the issue, 95 % of the saves where created on 2/5/2018 and the games are not even installed on most of my computers.

   For some reason, Steam was automatically storing my game save files and other various content (not the game itself) onto OneDrive. So what I did was close it off, but in doing that it removed all my OneDrive data from my Computer, including the saves.
