- Top 50 Solar Flares
Find historical and current data on solar flares from various sources and wavelengths, such as H-alpha, X-ray, and radio. Learn about the classification, impact, and monitoring of solar flares from NCEI and other agencies.
The result is a new and unique database of solar flares and data search and classification tools for the Heliophysics community, enabling multi-instrument/multi-wavelength investigations of flare physics and supporting further development of flare-prediction methodologies.
Currently the events are displayed in front of this data, which helps to find reflection of different events in soft X-ray activity of the sun. Additionally, it is possible to display Temperature and Emission measure graphs calculated from GOES data in the single-temperature approximation.

The greyed out and light-blue entries are values from the previous day. Slashed cells indicate that the active region has no spots. The latest positions of the active regions are given in both heliographic and heliocentric co-ordinates. The region positions are valid on 19-Nov-2024 20:30 UT .
5 dni temu · Data. The GOES X-ray plots shown here are used to track solar activity and solar flares. Large solar X-ray flares can change the Earth’s ionosphere, which blocks high-frequency (HF) radio transmissions on the sunlit side of the Earth.
