I would personally just make an empty mod, call it "loose files," and dump everything into there. MO2 dumps output generated by programs running under its VFS. The warning about files in the Overwrite folder is just to let you know you have unorganized files in your setup.

26 sie 2014 · The problem here is Mod Organizer. According to the docs you need to start the game via Steam for OBSE to work with Steam, but for Mod Organizer to even have a chance to work you need to start the game through MO, of course.
22 mar 2019 · The easiest way is to create new mod (right click -> All mods -> Create empty mod) and move everything from Overwrite folder there. At the end, you need to activate the folder in left panel.
