If your Mods folder is getting bigger and bigger with all that nice stuff you downloaded, you may have noticed that the time the game takes to load is also getting longer. This is very annoying! I even heard about players reading books or doing other things while waiting for their game to load.
Want faster loading times? If you have a lot of mods and CC installed (let’s be honest, that’s practically all of us) and you are frustrated by long loading times just to reach the main menu, you should immediately turn off the Mods list on startup.
Install the following mods: simulation lag fix mod and simulation unclogger mod. Merge your CC using Sims 4 Studios. This just means taking a bunch of CC files and compacting them into packages to make fewer files for your game to read. This is THE best tip I discovered! And it's easy! Clean your computer.

Move the mods folder to the desktop, delete the game cache and the localthumbcache.package from the Sims 4 folder to help with troubleshooting. Load the game and play a new save to test.
