When the EA finally doesn't crash (around one in five times) Sims 4 can't launch, the game just white-screens and crashes to desktop, either right away or after starting to play on a save file and trying to save.
The next day i tried to check the EA app with the sims 4 that was still 42% but then i got kicked out again saying the app suddenly crashed within 5 seconds. I reported the problem but it was the same. I checked my Wi-Fi and i checked for updates for my laptop just in case but everything is alright.

1 lis 2024 · binibabi333 Thanks for the dxdiag, and yes, I do see something relevant, specifically the faulting module in the Sims 4 crashes.It's part of the Intel graphics driver and should be cleared up if you switch Sims 4 to DirectX 11 mode. So please open the EA App game library, click Sims 4 > Manage > View properties, and add -dx11 to the command line box.
17 paź 2024 · You can sign into the EA App and put it in offline mode, then disable wifi and/or disconnect the ethernet cable before pressing Play. I realize this is not a workable solution, but it is a useful data point.
Yes, I came back from travelling for months and wanted to play the sims 4 again on my macbook. When I opened origin it told me to download the EA app. It seemed to be working fine until I had to update my sims 4 game and now every time I open it, it crashes and I am unable to restart it.
