You can repair Sims 3 within the EA App to revert the change. Please try both while applying the Task Manager method and not: I'd like to know whether the service initialization error shows up in both cases, or only one, or neither.
I signed up for EA Play simply to play Sims 3, except it won't launch. It'll open the game launcher but then when I click "play" it just brings me back to the EA launcher. Any suggestions?
Go into Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3, open Options.ini, search for fullscreen, and set it to 0 (zero). The idea behind a new admin Windows account is that you're working with an entirely new Documents directory, plus other default Windows settings and permissions.
I installed TS3 on Windows 11 using Origin and every time I hit Play, Origin window flashes and nothing else happens. I tried changing all of the executables to run in compatibility mode with Windows 7 and it didn't work.
17 mar 2023 · Sims 3 on windows 11 is nearly impossible to play, even with the Alder lake patch, it will rarely ever run past 5 minutes.
I recently bought a gaming computer that is running Windows 11 Pro. Sadly, I can't get the Sims 3 to play at all. Once installed, I open the launcher and hit the play button. The launcher closes, and nothing happens. Does anyone know of any fixes or workarounds?
