30 lip 2022 · Sig decided to modernize the 556 series with the XI series. They went full bore, adding a new stock with a cheek riser for better sight acquisition, a three-position adjustable gas system instead of two, and an M-LOK rail system to top it off.
I recently purchased a Sig 556 classic and put some Aurora Sights on it and was very pleased with the rifle. It came with a red dot and a butt spacer for length of pull. It is lighter than my recent Bushy ACR ( terrible rifle IMO by comparison.
