30 paź 2020 · Problem. Overall I am happy with the bike. It rides quiet and comfortable, but under high torque situations like short steep inclines or fast take-offs I have noticed a single sharp and unpleasant clunking noise from the gear hub. This happens in all the gears.

13 cze 2020 · However, the adjustment doesn't "stick". The problem is that the markers used for the adjustment don't remain aligned after I change gear, and the misfit isn't constant. I get different misalignment if I go 5 → 4 (4 is the gear that should be used when adjusting) compared to if I go 3 → 4.
I used a rubber hub seal from my spares box to cover up the lock nut and cone, so they aren’t completely exposed and thus managed to reduce the OLD to 120 mm. The next problem was dish, I had to move the rim across 7.5 mm (the existing hub was setup at 135 mm OLD).
