History. The first permanent settlement in the area was made in 1860 by Rev. Francis Warren Baggarly. In 1864, around the time residents of the nearby Willow Dell community began to arrive, the settlement was named Senoia.

Any Friday or Saturday between 1pm and 4pm, folks can visit the museum at 6 Couch Street and learn about our unique heritage. The museum is staffed by dedicated historical society members who gladly offer their time and talent to promote and share the history and lore of the Senoia area.
