This season introduces the most major changes to the RLCS system yet with more regions and an updated format. 3 splits - Fall, Winter, Spring - each have 3 regional events leading into an international major.
Format, Broadcast, and Schedule. The RLCS Fall Major format will mirror the RLCS Fall Split format, which means it's a 16-team Swiss Stage that feeds into an eight-team Single-Elimination Bracket. Win three times in the Swiss Stage and move on. Lose three times and you're out.
30 lis 2021 · The Fall Major is the biggest international tournament of the R LCS 2021-22 season Fall Split, where 16 of the top teams from around the world come together to face off for points, regional bragging rights, and the title of Fall Major Champions! The event will be held in Stockholm, Sweden at the ESL Sweden Studio.
Fall Split Majors will work the same as the current format, but cut in half. Check out the breakdown below: The top 16 teams in each region will qualify for the Fall Split Major. Each Major will last two days. Day 1 will feature a 16-team Swiss stage, with the top eight teams advancing to Playoffs.
6 gru 2021 · The 2021-22 Fall Split Major will be held using the Swiss System, with 16 teams competing in five rounds of best-of-five matches. The top eight from the Swiss stage will then advance to a single-elimination, Bo7 playoff, culminating with a double Bo7 in the grand final.
