I've been trying to get roblox to launch in vr mode but can't seem to figure out how. Both when using oculus link as well as virtual desktop, the inside of my headset is simply black while on my computer's screen the game has launched in pc mode (meaning its controlled using mouse/keyboard.)
Sorry for the late response, but nobody has seemed to address a fix for this so here is a fix: Go to C:/Users/*Your Name*/AppData/Local/Roblox. Open GlobalBasicSettings.xml. Do Ctrl+F while the file is open and search VR, set HasEverUsedVR to true, and set VREnabled to False.
THe other day I wanted to play a roblox game on pc rather than VR, so I turned off VR mode, and now it doesn't show up anymore to turn it back on. I've tried your method. I've tried restarting my computer, updates, file scans, reinstalling oculus, but nothing works.
15 sty 2022 · If you're using a pc try getting steam vr and launching that before launching roblox.
7 mar 2021 · Tried playing a Roblox game again with the following workflow unfortunately to no avail. Load Oculus software; Plug in headset to SS port and enable link; After link loaded, pressed play on VR compatible Roblox game on PC; Again, “Roblox Game Client Loading” stuck on screen.
