I have this exact same ps3 model and I took it apart to clean it and now the controller won't sync. I press the PS button and all 4 lights blink rapidly (faster than when 1 blinks when it's charging) for about 30 secs and then turn off.

29 lis 2014 · I'd suggest that size specifically to eliminate any problems with higher capacity drives. the ps3 should be good with most, if not any, 1TB hdd 9.5mm in height, but all hdds should be that size or smaller in height these days. Charles_n_town, Today at 3:07 PM. #2. 571.
You do NOT, want to do this. Extensive research, shows that by cutting holes at the bottom you choke the psu cooling capacity. Look at the ps3 panel Sony did a few years back, they extensively tested and demonstrated why the ps3 cools the way it does.
I've found a CECHA01 for a reasonable price and I really want it since it's backwards compatible, but I'm aware that it is very prone to problems and if it dies I'll probably won't be able to fix it. What do you guys think?

CECHH01 power issue : r/PS3. So short long story, had this ps3 since New. Worked flawlessly for 10 years or so. A few years ago it wouldn't turn on, i tinkered with it as much as I could back then and then it just sat.
8 lip 2021 · It actually has some inconvenient problems, but quality is OK. Some one has posted his stats of hundreds of hours of CECHL usage on webman statistics. The thermal paste under IHS goes bad which is a problem for old FATs.
