If your binocular eyecups have seen better days, or if you need a different size to better fit your eyes, don’t worry—they’re easy to replace! You can find replacement eyecups at most outdoor stores, or online.
15 sie 2014 · REPLACING THE EYE CUPS. Remove the old eye cups by screwing the whole unit (rotating rubber eye cups and base ring) CLOCKWISE (opposite threaded to normal). Screw the new base ring on ANTI-CLOCKWISE but only a few turns, as you’ll need to rotate yet to get the bits in.
13 lip 2012 · I have a nice Nikon binocular that still have excellent optics and lens coatings. I purchased them the early '70's. However, over the decades, the rubber eye cups have eroded as shown in the attached picture. Does anyone know of a place I can purchase replacement eye cups. I sent an email to Nikon but never got a reply.
10 lis 2020 · I've done this with good results on legacy binoculars. In one case I turned the eyecups upside down and it fit perfectly. The rubber eyecups are inexpensive enough to buy a couple of pairs and try them.
