10 lis 2020 · The eyecups work perfectly on my second pair. I suggest that you search "rubber microscope eye cups" on ebay and see if any standard size is about the correct size. I've done this with good results on legacy binoculars. In one case I turned the eyecups upside down and it fit perfectly.

10 paź 2024 · For those with damaged rubber eyecups on their Nikon SE models, there are alternatives, however I think I have found the best so far. I received these from Eric Suddarth of Suddarth Optical Repair and they work extremely well, I have used them for about a week on both the 8X32, 10X42, and 12X50 and I could not be happier.

22 gru 2020 · One of the eyecups on my Nikon 12x50 SEs is cracked, so I looked on the Nikon website, didn't see a listing for replacement eyecups, and left an email question about the matter. A Nikon service rep responded to say that they do not sell eyecups, and I need to ship my binoculars to their service center (in New York state) to have new eyecups ...
30 cze 2022 · A great value combination of power and light-gathering, the Nikon Action EX 12x50 binoculars are ideal for long-distance observations, however their 12x magnification and rugged design make them rather heavyweight.
Inevitably, I find myself missing some of the optics that move on; Nikon’s 12x50 SE CF binoculars are a prime example. It is true that since owning the Nikons I have tested several pairs of higher-power binoculars that are slightly better in some way, but in all cases only very slightly.
18 lip 2023 · The SE series was discontinued by Nikon; still, during our big 12x50 instruments test we had one specimen of the Nikon SE 12x50 CF available and decided to check the quality of these Porro binoculars, stacking it up against contemporary roof-prism devices with the same parameters.
