A lot of people have been moving away from MySpace93 after it abruptly closed on June 29th this week, over to SpaceHey, until a new MS93 clone is produced from the old source code. HACKER3000 is currently working on a clone of his own and I've offered to help with the backend if needed, or otherwise, some kind of moderation job.

- Why did MS93 die? [pinned]
- Jankenpopp is planning to release the source code in 3 weeks for anyone else to clone and host. This means that MS93 may come back under new management. Here's what I've read from other former users:
It's been around a year since MySpace93 died, so i spent the past 2 weeks re-making it! https://myspace.f46n.org/ You can also migrate your account from MySpace...
I finally found a good clone, please spread the word so more people can find this site!
Will the project ever be brought back, and if not are there any good alternatives? Probably not, because it's way too time consuming to moderate. I had planned to stop the service at 100k users because of this, but the maliciousness of some obsessive windows93 fans accelerated this closure.
My main concern with this is that there will be a shitload of clones based off of the same source code and that it will cause fragmentation (everyone splitting off to different platforms). Then again, the MS93 community is pretty tightly knit so it's likely one platform will dominate the rest.
Now I find a second Myspace clone, Spacehey.com, they are both virtually identical to classic Myspace, but for some reason Spacehey seems like it is more known about online and already getting more users.
