20 kwi 2021 · We provide an algorithmic approach for investigating monocytosis and highlight the recent advances in phenotypic characterization of monocytes. Future areas of research should involve characterization of monocyte compartment heterogeneity, both in normal and disease-states through novel technologies such as CyTOF.
