26 wrz 2024 · I got one of these "Your Microoft order" emails too today. Very well crafted: the formatting is convincing, the product names are real, and the link URLs look like legit Microsoft pages. Took me several minutes of looking before I was confident it was bogus. For reference and googleability, here's the contact info they used in the email to me:
7 paź 2024 · The scammers are using compromised Microsoft 365 Tenants, changing the organization's name to "Helpline at xxx xxx xxxx" , setting up notifications to go to the victim's email and signing up for subscriptions. This is why the emails are coming from a legit MS email address that passes DKIM checks - no email spoofing is occuring.
Today I received an " Order Confirmation" supposedly from Microsoft (order # 2511199045) that I did not make. It appears to be a scam so I wanted to alert you to this. I have checked all my accounts and no money has been taken from my checking account or charged to my credit accounts.

14 lis 2024 · It's definitely a scam 100%. Hi, I received an email on November 12, 2024 re: a Microsoft order for Microsoft 365 CoPilot, charging me $360. I reviewed my subscriptions on the Microsoft site and this subscription was not there.
