17 lip 2022 · My next step is to replace the 2040 Side rails with 2080 rails to recover the lost Z-height (parts ordered). I may also convert it to a 3040 to get a decent work area (300x180 is quite limiting, 300x320 would be much better). and here it is in action:
31 maj 2024 · Install the Linear Rails using fixed M3 T-nuts (not the rotating ones which have a habit of not engaging correctly). You only need to secure every second mount point. Install the MGN15H Mounts to the Carriages using M3 Bolts
17 lip 2022 · After getting some advice on anti-backlash nuts/blocks, I printed out some mounting blocks, I designed, for the AB Blocks to replace the spring types that came with my machine. I used ASA which is very strong and durable.
17 lip 2022 · I decided to implement the Y axis upgrade on my standard size 3018. All details clear (will order 300mm lenght rails only), however wondering if the 2080 side increase is a must to have your setup - I mean the printed adapter & 2020 rail & MGN15H rails combo - will work smooth with standard machine hight as well?
