20 mar 2017 · I noticed that OSX's built-in Hebrew fonts do not include the accent marker. An example: the word for "darkness" is חשֶׁךְ. To represent that the accent is on the first syllable, there needs to be a < over the first letter.

On your Mac, you can enter letters with accent marks by pressing and holding a key or by pressing multiple keys in sequence. Press and hold a letter key. When you press and hold a letter key, the accent menu opens and shows the accent marks you can enter with that letter.
