Together with a homebrew dualband J-pole antenna (mounted on top of a 7-stories building) it gives me a pretty decent local coverage, primarily for 2m FM rag chewing or SOTA chasing. Thanks to CAT+audio interface, I can feel more DX-like doing FT8 QSOs on 144MHz or work via FM or linear satellites.

Grig supports the most commonly used CAT commands that are implemented by Hamlib, and integrates well with other ham radio programs like Xlog and gMFSK. Grig has been developed on Linux, but has been ported on Mac and Windows OS.
