The 2023 Mid-Season Invitational (MSI 2023) is held between the first and second splits of all regions, with the exception of EMEA, where its between the second and third split. The champions of each competitive region as well as the runner-ups of the major regions compete for the MSI title.
MSI 2024 is held in Chengdu, China at the Wuliangye Chengdu Performing Arts Center. The event runs between May 1st and 19th. A new rule for 2024 is that the MSI champion will now earn direct qualification to the 2024 World Championship, guaranteeing an additional slot for its region.
