10 sty 2024 · On the xfce desktop the system monitor is the executable xfce4-taskmanager, in the Mint menu: Task Manager. On the Mate desktop the system monitor is the executable mate-system-monitor, in the Mint menu: System Monitor. And yes, it comes pre-installed on Linux Mint.

I don't know about Ubuntu since I'm not using it anymore, but Kubuntu has a wonderful task manager. Still, if you want a Windows 8/10 like task manager, there's a third party program called SysMonTask that you can find it on Github and install it from there.
21 sie 2016 · There is an app called conky manager which will get you closer to what you want to see, here is a link: http://www.teejeetech.in/p/conky-manager.html. One caveat though is that this link is outside the security blanket of mint repositories. but many go there and use the manager without any downsides at all.
Windows Task Manager is not available for Linux but there are plenty of alternatives that runs on Linux with similar functionality. The best Linux alternative is htop, which is both free and Open Source.
