7 cze 2023 · I have discovered a very annoying error in the image and I am surprised that nobody has commented. The problem is exclusively in HDR content (and also maybe in Dolby Vision), where in many scenes there are really annoying flickers, such as very sudden increases and decreases in brightness causing those flickers.

15 kwi 2024 · The LG OLED G4 seems to be having a significant issue with HDMI2 (eARC). Connecting external video sources to HDMI2 (which work on the other the other 3 HDMIs) do not produce an image (but you can hear sound).

The best you can do is compensate by using the right amount of motion interpolation, like LG's TruMotion. Too much and you get noticeable soap opera effect, but LG's setting is adjustable on a 10-point scale, so setting it to 1-3 will probably reduce how noticeable the stutter is while not making all motion seem completely unnatural.
