And you no longer need Dell Support Assist as all Dell drivers are available as Optional Windows Updates - just enable that in your Windows Updates settings (under Advanced) and it'll sort your drivers. Dell Power Manager just configures the power features that are in the BIOS, so you can always adjust them in there.

12 sie 2022 · As with any computer I get, I remove some of the pre-installed software that I do not want like McAfee anti-anything software. Here is a list of potential software to remove: Dell Customer Connect. Dell Digital Delivery.
Most of the Dell apps just use a little space on the drive, and aren't running until you click it. They're easy to get back, so just delete any which you won't use. It doesn't hurt anything to just leave those installed either.
I've had this new laptop (XPS 17 9720, i9 processor, Nvidia RTX 3060, 4k screen) for a couple of weeks now. On day one I uninstalled all of Dell's bloatware except for the driver updater. The privacy agreement for Dell SupportAssist seemed particularly diabolical.
10 sty 2023 · I would only keep Dell Power Manager; uninstall all other Dell software. Sometimes on some laptop models the battery will work better with Dell Power Manager installed.
