Search results
Look for something that says "IPv4 Address". Remember the sequence of numbers after that. Mac: In Terminal, look for something called wlan0 (for Wi-Fi) or eth0 (for wired Ethernet).

With IPv6, only people who have IPv6 can join your server, or people who have teredo setup. The steps are almost the same as for IPv4 (assuming Java edition) Download Minecraft server, make sure server-ip is empty in server.properties. Check if your local server works by trying to join ::1.
