Opening times. 1 April to 30 September: Monday to Saturday, 9.30am to 5.30pm; Sunday, 12.30pm to 5.30pm (last entry 5pm). 1 October to 31 March: Daily except Sunday, 10am to 4.30pm (last entry 3.30pm). The site will be open on Sunday 6, 13 and 20 October.

Iona Abbey, located on the Isle of Iona on the far southwest corner of Mull – was founded by St. Columba in AD 563. The abbey is one of Europe’s oldest sites of worship and was an important burial site for Scottish royalty after the Scottish Reformation.
