Dragon Caves are underground structures that house one level 4 or 5 dragon. Dragon caves are the only natural spawning place of wild stage 4 and 5 dragons, of which the females drop Dragon Eggs. As of yet, there is no reliable way of locating a dragon cave in survival.

Dragon Eggs are placeable entities that turn into baby dragons; they are a drop from stage 4-5 female dragons, used to hatch tamed baby dragons. To obtain a dragon egg, one must seek out a female 4+ dragon, which can be found sleeping in treasure-filled caverns deep underground.
Find the biome of your desired dragon. Open your FTB map settings. Change "only surface entities" to false. Scout the biome either looking at your mini-map or the whole map (default hotkey is "m"). The dragon icons are small, but visible and will be easy to identify with time.

Lightning dragons can spawn in Jungle, Savanna, and Badlands biomes. Younger dragons are found on small roosts on the surface (Stages 1-3), whereas older ones (Stage 4 and rarely Stage 5) lurk in caverns beneath the ground. Stages 1-3 often spawning in Jungle biome.
