17 maj 2023 · The Husqvarna 55 and 55 Rancher are two different, but almost identical, 53 cc chainsaws. The 55 entered production in 1990 and was made until 2000. The 55 Rancher was made from 1998 – 2007.
Husqvarna 55 Chainsaw. The Husqvarna 55 Rancher chainsaw joined the product range in 1990. It was the latest in a line of models that began with the Husqvarna 50 in 1982. The 55 Rancher model was discontinued in 2005, to be succeeded by the Husqvarna 455 Rancher.
24 mar 2017 · My aim is to boost performance within a reasonable cost investment for the value of the saw (without destroying it). I'm currently saving for a Husqvarna 372 or Stihl 461 but would like to learn some things along the way by seeing what could be done with my old tried and true 55. Any thoughts?

23 lut 2005 · The 55"rancher" is an open port version ,with 53 cc's and no decompressor. Rated at 3.3 hp, it came with 3/8 chain and a spur sprocket. I believe the original 55's came with a walbro carb. and the rancher has a zama.
13 kwi 2020 · I bought a mint Stihl 028 WB last year and I absolutely love it. With the whole Coronavirus thing going on, I've had more time on my hands so I decided to finally buy a project saw. I wound up finding a Husqvarna 55 Rancher in non-running condition on Craigslist. It had an 18" bar and 11 total chains.
29 paź 2005 · They are a VERY reliable saw. Easy to start in any weather, not that fussy on fuel. I'm sure it has happened somewhere, but I've never seen a 455 failure that wasn't the customer's fault.
