22 wrz 2021 · Reinstalled battery and it boots up normally, with battery detected but not charging. This proves that the A\C adapter in working. Their next suggestion is to down load the manufacturer's latest power management driver.

The old battery started balloon so I bought a replacement (HP model KB06XL) but when I installed it and started up the computer would say "No battery detected". Now here is the weird part, it may not detect the battery, but it will run off of it.
No Battery. HP Battery Check did not detect a battery. A battery is not installed or detected in the battery compartment. If a battery is installed, remove the battery and inspect the pins to see if there is dirt or other foreign matter blocking the connection.
