Ohio requires unemployment claimants to meet their weekly active search for suitable work requirements by conducting two (2) work search activities each week and providing documentation/information about the work search activity on each weekly claim filed.

To apply online, go to unemployment.ohio.gov and follow the steps listed below. If you don’t have access to a computer, you can apply by calling 1-877-644-6562. Call center hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
