28 paź 2017 · The skeleton of the horse’s neck consists of seven cervical vertebrae (Fig. 2.3), the first of which is the atlas (Fig. 2.4) and the second the axis (Fig. 2.5). The long strong ligament of the neck, the nuchal ligament (Fig. 2.7), is attached to the axis.
