I'm a 14 year old developer looking to make my first game which I'd like to be a horror game. I want to create a unique horror game like FNAF, Don't Ride with Strangers, Emily Wants to Play, etc. I haven't been able to think of any unique ideas and haven't found anything online either.
Designed maps for a few indie horror games and shooters. One thing we focused on was looping paths and dead ends. Some games we didn't want any dead ends or very few because it would not feel good to get caught in one so we made sure paths always continued into looping paths.

This fear of the unknown is something that atmospheric tension can provide and sustain over the course of the entire experience.
