Homebrew RF Circuit Design Ideas. "There is no such thing as a new idea. It is impossible. We simply take a lot of old ideas and put them into a sort of mental kaleidoscope. We give them a turn and they make new and curious combinations." - Mark Twain (1835-1910) http://www.qsl.net/va3iul/.

RF BASICS and THEORY. "Very little is new in RF anymore. Almost everything that we see today is a variation on a very old and well understood theme"-- C. Marki. - Phased Array Antennas. - Understanding Noise Figure.
The circuit below is an old one, repeated many times. It was inspired by Fig 2.101 in EMRFD, the AA3X amplifier, but there are well documented examples online.
Something I personally would do is a simple RF energy harvester https://www.planetanalog.com/circuits-for-rf-energy-harvesting/. RF circuits on breadboards don't generally work. 2pF between rows and maybe 5 pF from row to power rail.
29 lis 2019 · This project is meant to demonstrate the capabilities of the MRF300 transistors as linear broadband devices in the 2-50MHz range and to be used by radio amateurs as a starting point for a medium-high power amplifier. This is also my entry to the NXP Homebrew RF Design Challenge 2019.
1 sty 2020 · 2020-01-01 VA3IUL Website RF Projects. I spent too much time looking at the schematics and projects at this website. Lots of interesting things to download. https://www.qsl.net/va3iul/Homebrew_RF_Circuit_Design_Ideas/Homebrew_RF_Circuit_Design_Ideas.htm.
