Welcome! This is the portion of my website that I use to try my best to contribute to the Diablo II LoD 1.14d community. Here you will find my mod + source code to edit D2s character save files + source code to observe changes in D2S files so that you can edit as you will.
Diablo 2 Hero Editing Hacks for 1.14. A script to hex-edit your single player save file in Diablo II for patches 1.13 and 1.14. The script just requires python (2.7 or 3.x) and numpy, and it should work on Mac OSX or Windows.
So I would recommend, editing your high-level chars with ZonFire99's Hero Editor and resetting the character level to 99 before opening your character with D2 LOD 1.13. Be aware that some conversion will occur right away and further changes will occur as you save and exit from a 1.13 game.

Run the D2Editor.exe file. Open a Diablo II character file (press CTRL-O or click on File, Open) which is located in the "save" directory of where you installed Diablo II: Resurrected. Make changes (type in a value if editing level, gold, experience, etc. or use the mouse if changing title, class, or state)
