The resource features a blank healthy eating plate that has been divided into different food groups; fruit and vegetables, carbohydrates, fats (oils or foods high in sugar), protein, and dairy. A healthy eating plate is a great way for children to understand nutrition and what foods should be included on our plates to help us stay fit and healthy.
HEALTHY EATING PLATE. Use healthy oils (like olive and canola oil) for cooking, on salad, HEALTHY. and at the table. Limit OILS. butter. Avoid trans fat. The more veggies— VEGETABLES. and the greater the variety—the better. Potatoes and french fries don't count.
