9 mar 2014 · In your GTA:SA folder, you may see a file called d3d9.dll, this is the DirectX 9 file required, however, GTA:SA doesn't detect it. To fix this problem, rename it to d3d9_32.dll. This fixed the problem for me.

29 gru 2012 · If you are using a new Win7 install you can use the DirectX Web Installer instead of running the whole package. It will install only those files that are 'missing'.

27 lut 2014 · After reading through many threads, I've finally sorted out what seems to be the easiest fix for the issue where launching GTA-SA results in an error (on Windows 8 and Windows 8.1) of SA requiring "at least" DirectX 9. 8 gru 2013 · Windows 8.1 x64. I've done the following: - Reinstalled GTA. - Reinstalled DirectX 9 using web installer (didn't actually install since it sees that that I have newer versions) - Reinstalled DirectX 9 using DirectX End-User Runtimes (June 2010) (installed) - Restarted multiple times.
