A loan is funding you must pay back. You can apply for student aid whether you are a full-time or a part-time student. In addition to helping with the costs of tuition, loans and grants can be used for living expenses like rent, food, transportation, and child care.
Effective August 1, 2024, Saskatchewan is introducing the Saskatchewan Student Grant for Low-Income Students with Dependants. This grant will provide eligible full-time students up to $950 per dependant for eight months of study. All other student aid amounts remain the same as the 2023-24 loan year.
Student Grants and Loans are available for students pursuing post-secondary education at a university, college or technical institute in an approved program that leads to a certificate, diploma or degree.

You can apply directly online or upload your completed forms to your Advanced Education Student Portal account or through the Post-Secondary Document Uploader.
