31 lip 2022 · The second season of God Eater still hasn’t been confirmed or canceled yet. The first season aired six years ago and while there still is some material to adapt from the game series, not counting possible original stories, the second season is still uncertain.
It's never gonna happen. The anime was just made to promote the game like most video game anime adaptations, but God Eater isn't high profile enough to warrant a second season just to fully adapt the story.
Another fact is the semi opened ending of the season, the story adapted the first arc of God Eeater and made a strong plot for the second one, so if it will ever happen (nothing against God Eater 2) it should cover the second and the third arc of the first game before moving on.

Just recently finished God Eater and I truly loved the show but I was just curious, is there going to be a continuation? I looked online and couldn’t find anything. Just wondering if there was any traction!
