26 sie 2017 · So I have come here to ask the question - are there any issues to be aware of on the Gen 2 version of the 23? The pistol does not have a rail or finger grooves so I am assuming Gen 2. I am well versed in the Gen 3's and 4's, but know nothing about the early versions.
4 mar 2019 · 17 Gen 2 Question. I just picked up a still new Gen 2 17. On another forum I was told to send it back to Glock to have the frame either replaced with a Gen 3 or have the relief cut done ( if Glock will do it). I was told that mine which was manufactured in May 1992 will crack the frame if fired.
23 lip 2019 · I just bought this gen 2 19. It's been quite a few years since I had a Glock and have almost forgotten what I did know. Is there anything I should do to this pistol or issues to look for before taking it to the range.
6 lut 2019 · I just bought a very nice shape looked near mint Gen 2 1993 19. I read on a different forum that in 1993 there was a recall due to a slide protrusion that could cause an out of battery discharge during a double feed.
31 lip 2023 · I've mentioned how I sent in my Gen 1 17 to Glock many years ago asking about a frame replacement. They replaced it with a Gen 2 frame (with the relief cuts) and sights. Interestingly, they matched the framer serial number to my Gen 1 slide.
9 lut 2019 · there's a whole slew of 9mm pistols that were upsized to .40 S&W including the glock series. none of them are well suited for .40. there are so many issues here from insufficient slide mass, RSA's that are same as 9mm, marginal chamber support etc.
24 gru 2015 · So, I bought my glock 19 gen 2 about a year ago, and have shot regularly, 2 or 3 times per month, with no issues so far. Last week I went to the range with some new (but cheap) ammo. I had casings fail to eject on every mag, about 20 fail to ejects total.
