22 wrz 2021 · Glock G23 Gen5 PA235S203 40 S&W. We’ve tested the G23 Gen3 and Gen4 variants and thought the Gen4 variant better allowed the user to control the recoil of 40 S&W. With the Gen5 variant, we think Glock has done an even better job mitigating recoil.
My gun is a Glock 23 with a factory nickel boron slide. Mine is listed as PI2350203NIB. So its jjst telling you the model number and denoting any factory non standard slide..
25 cze 2024 · While my Gen 3 G17, G19 and Gen4 G22 aren't going anyplace, my Gen5 G22 is definitely an improvement over a Gen 3 gun in general, a Gen5 G23 is a significant improvement over a Gen 3 G23. In addition to the Gen5 improvements, the thicker and heavier slide in the Gen5 G23 make it a much more viable and comfortable to shoot .40.

11 lip 2021 · Glock's position was that the slide peening was "normal" (which by strictest interpretation of the word it was, since all Glock .40s did it), but it wasn't exactly ideal. For .40s, my answer is Gen4 or Gen5 (if you don't mind the added bulk of the wider slide).
