The Gen4's have a slightly smaller grip, and the Gen 5's incorporate the smaller grip, no finger humps, marksman barrels, and redesigned internals for better long term durability, or so Glock says.

30 sie 2023 · I have Glock 19.3, 19.4 and 19.5. I like the redesigned take down latch spring on the Gen five as I’ve seen the small z spring fail on previous generations. I reload and my 19.5 throws brass a long way. I like the way my 19.3 shoots so for reloading the 19.3 is desirable. I got brass to the face and weak ejection with my 19.4.

  3. 22 mar 2021 · The magazine release on the Gen 5’a are larger than the Gen 3. Gen 5 has a match grade barrel, beveled muzzle (both slide and frame), slightly flared mag well, ambi slide release, no finger grooves, better texturing and four back straps. And of course the front slide serrations. The RSA is dual and not the straight rod.

  5. 29 wrz 2023 · I bought a new Glock 19.3 so I could have a 19.3, 19.4 and 19.5. I freely admit to being a Glockaholic and I like them all. I like all the after market support for the Gen 3 Glock. A picture of 23.3 with new night sights. Here is a picture of the side view. This turned out to be a really nice 40 caliber pistol.

3 cze 2019 · I have a Gen 3 19 and the newer 19x as well and was wondering if it was you all what one would you keep for yourself and what one would you give to son? I am tore in half between the two and seem to like them both kinda equally. 19x has a great trigger, high capacity yet 19 conceals better.

  7. 8 lip 2023 · Here are my conclusions: A) GPT & Gen 3 is indeed a safe and simple mod to do, provided you keep the trigger shoe stock. However, be aware that the vertical extension/shark's fin geometry might not be the best in terms of centering on the plunger. B) I do not consider Gen 3 pistol + GPT + Vex shoe combination to be safe, based on issue 1 above.

  9. 28 kwi 2024 · Danke Glock. The recoil spring assembly in the G19 Gen 3 is a proven, reliable part. The only reason one would need to change it is to accommodate a specific load for something such as competition, or adjust the spring weight for modifications such as running a comp. The guide rod only serves to keep the recoil spring from binding during recoil ...

  10. 5 cze 2022 · EDIT: Testing out my new Glock 19 Gen 3 @ the range along with Hornady Critical Defense 115 gr ammo. I have some handle it and showgun grips handy…will try ‘em out at some point…I almost bought a glock 30s but didn’t like the pain in my tumb joint when shooting…a guy at the range put me onto the Glock 19 and I’ve been in love with this gun ever since…my first was a glock 23 years ...
