10 sie 2019 · For this reason I asked myself if it is possible to figure out the steam AppID through the entered name. So I tried to collect the IDs through my steamApps folder without success. I also found a website where you could search for the name of a specific game.
3 wrz 2017 · Use this: http://api.steampowered.com/ISteamApps/GetAppList/v0002/. You can traverse the JSON object and look for your ID using the game name. Just to clarify for those (like me, 10 minutes ago) who were having trouble figuring out how to access this. Steam has a main API section called the "Steam Web API".

10 sty 2014 · Go to the game's store page and check the URL. The last number in the URL is the application ID. All the store URLs are in format store.steampowered.com/app/APPID, so for Wasteland 2, the URL is http://store.steampowered.com/app/240760/, and appID 240760.
